1. Past Tense — masa lepas

Untuk perkara yang sudah berlaku (yesterday, last week, just now). Biasanya tambah -ed: play→played, watch→watched, cook→cooked.

Tetapi banyak verb istimewa (irregular) — kena hafal:

go	went
eat	ate
buy	bought
see	saw
take	took
run	ran

2. Present Tense — He / She / It tambah -s

He plays, She reads, It runs. Akhir -y → -ies: study→studies. Tambah -es selepas o/ch/sh: go→goes, watch→watches.

⚠️ Silap biasa

"He go to school" → "He goes to school" ✓

1. Banding 2 benda — tambah -er + "than"

tall→taller, fast→faster. Huruf akhir kadang digandakan: big→bigger, hot→hotter. Akhir -y → -ier: happy→happier.

2. Perkataan panjang — guna "more"

beautiful→more beautiful, interesting→more interesting, difficult→more difficult.

3. Istimewa

good→better, bad→worse, far→further.

Bonus — "paling" (superlative)

tall→the tallest, beautiful→the most beautiful.

Cara jadikan jamak (lebih dari satu)

• Biasa → -s: book→books, pen→pens
• Selepas s, x, ch, sh → -es: box→boxes, brush→brushes
• Konsonan + y → -ies: baby→babies, city→cities
• -f / -fe → -ves: leaf→leaves, knife→knives

Istimewa (kena hafal)

child	children
man	men
woman	women
foot	feet
tooth	teeth
mouse	mice

Tak berubah: sheep, fish, deer.
